“FRIENDS OF PIEMONTESE CULTURE” ASSOCIATION
of Pianezza
The Association “Amici della Cultura Piemontese” of Pianezza (Turin-
Italy) founded in 1988 aims to increment the diffusion of regional values
through the knowledge of language, songs and traditional dances.
The Association ‘s activities are:
- Courses of Piemontese Language in the schools and in territory;
- Courses of populars dances.
- Courses of popular instruments as: hurdy-gurdy, dulcimer, diatonic
accordion, violin, accordion and guitar;
- Folk song group “ La Lusentela”;
- Construction of hurdy-gurdy and dulcimer;
- Books pubblication and dictionaries in piemontese Language;
- Pubblication of musicassettes, CD of songs and piemontese music.
- Evenings entertainment of music, readings and poems with the
song singer-writer Ezio Girardi.
- Evenings entertainment of popular music with the group “ J’Arsivòli”;
